Alpha Beta at the 21st Asian Battery Conference
At 21ABC in Malaysia, Alpha Beta presented its smart-manufacturing approach to AGM separators and joined the One Minute Giveback initiative.
The 21st Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition took place from 2–5 September 2025 at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Malaysia. Battery manufacturers, energy-storage companies, material suppliers and technical specialists gathered to discuss energy transition and more sustainable development.
Conversations across the value chain
21ABC is an important meeting point for the Asian battery and energy-storage industry. Alpha Beta met partners and industry peers throughout the event, presenting its AGM separator portfolio, application capabilities and manufacturing development while listening closely to new requirements from Southeast Asia and beyond.
A presentation on smart manufacturing
Alpha Beta delivered a presentation on improving AGM separator performance through smart manufacturing. It outlined how visualised production data, online controls and connected process management at the new factory help teams identify variation sooner, respond more precisely and make quality, efficiency and manufacturing cost more transparent.
One Minute Giveback
Alpha Beta was also honoured to take part in the conference’s One Minute Giveback initiative, supporting local care organisations and a children’s home in Kota Kinabalu. Progress in technology and industry should be accompanied by a willingness to contribute to the communities around us.
