Alpha Beta’s New Chuzhou Production Base
Alpha Beta’s new Chuzhou base brings together automated production, standardised quality control, intelligent warehousing and cleaner energy systems.
In 2025, Alpha Beta completed a new production base in the Chuzhou industrial park after nearly a year of construction. The site combines automated manufacturing, standardised quality control and cleaner energy systems, and formally entered operation in April 2025.
Innovation translated into capacity
The Chuzhou base strengthens Alpha Beta’s position in the Yangtze River Delta battery-materials supply chain. It brings more than three decades of AGM separator experience into a new generation of manufacturing infrastructure.
A connected manufacturing footprint
Located in the Chuzhou National Economic and Technological Development Zone, the site covers more than 30 mu and sits within the Nanjing metropolitan area. Integrated transport links connect it with the Nanjing and Hefei new-energy clusters. Automated production and intelligent warehousing work together, while production data supports process optimisation and flexible order requirements.
Quality built into the process
The site carries forward Alpha Beta’s AGM separator know-how and uses high-silica borosilicate micro-glass fibres. Testing and process controls cover strength, acid absorption, pore structure and batch consistency. Alpha Beta operates quality-management systems including IATF 16949, while its products are compliant with RoHS and REACH requirements.
Smarter manufacturing
The production line incorporates formulation error-proofing, enclosed pulping, online basis-weight and thickness control, and constant-tension slitting and winding. Closed-loop data helps teams identify deviations quickly and improve consistency and yield.
A more resource-conscious operation
The base includes photovoltaic generation and industrial-water treatment systems. Its laboratory supports separator selection, parameter verification and application-specific development for customers.
